Summary
Although it is very rare, there may be times where the Chargefox app becomes unresponsive or an error occurs. If you are receiving an error when using the Chargefox app similar to the screenshot below, refreshing your app cache may solve the problem.
Signing out and back in to your Chargefox account and checking your network settings (your Wi-Fi connection or a VPN may be disrupting your app connection) are also good general troubleshooting methods to try when having general app issues.
Clearing your app cache is a more effective troubleshooting method for Android - deleting and reinstalling the app on iOS is generally our recommended first step.
To reset your app cache, follow the steps below based on whether you are using Android or iOS.
Android
To clear the app cache on Android, follow these steps:
Settings > Apps > Chargefox > Storage and cache > Clear cache
It is worth noting that deleting the app won't clear the cache on Android.
iOS
On iOS, you may find the uninstalling and reinstalling the cache app resolves the issue - and we generally advise you try that first. If not, you can also clear the app cache on iOS by following these steps.
Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Chargefox > Offload App
