Checking Station Connection Status

When installing new stations onsite, you can now use the Station Connection Status page to help get your station connected to the Chargefox network.

The below walkthrough video talks through the page and the different status triggers you'll see when interacting with the prompts.

To access the page

Upon having your station setup by a member of the Chargefox team, you will be sent an email containing a link to that Station's Connection Status page. Clicking the link will take you to the connection page, with the Station pre-selected.

Checking a Station once it's online

Once you've connected the station and done the required setup (refer to the connection email for instructions), you can check if the station is online, by clicking Check again.

A successful online check will show the following status.

Getting the Configuration from the Station

Once the Station is online, the final step in the process is to get the Station Configuration. To start this process, click the Get configuration button.

Once this process has started, you will see the configuration status change to "Waiting for configuration" (see image below).

Note: The process of getting configuration can take up to 10 minutes, clicking the Check again button will refresh the page and check if configuration is completed.

Once configuration is completed, you will be presented with the "Connection Successful" message and the status checks will all be green.

I'm getting a message "Chargebox Identity not found"

When clicking on the supplied link in the station setup email, if you experience the "Chargebox Identity not found", it indicates there is likely an issue with the Chargebox Identity provided. Please reach out to support@chargefox.com for help.
