If the Chargefox app becomes unresponsive or an error occurs, refreshing the app cache may solve the problem. Follow the steps below.
Before you start
Before you clear your cache, try signing out and back in to your Chargefox account and check your network settings to see if your Wi-Fi connection or a VPN could be disrupting the app's connection to the internet.
Should I reinstall the app?
Clearing the app cache is more effective on Android devices. For iOS devices, it may be more effective to delete and reinstall the app.
To reset your app cache, follow the steps below based your device.
Android devices
To clear the app cache on Android, go to:
Settings → Apps → Chargefox → Storage and cache → Clear cache
It is worth noting that deleting the app won't clear the cache on Android.
iOS devices
On iOS, try uninstalling and reinstalling app first. If this doesn't solve the issue, you can clear the app cache by going to:
Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Chargefox → Offload App
