To be able to charge or order an RFID card, you must have a valid credit card linked to your account. You can link a credit card in the 'My profile' section of the Chargefox app.
💡Please make sure your Chargefox app is updated to the latest version, as outdated app versions may cause issues when updating payment details. Updating the app can help ensure your payment methods save and work correctly.
Adding a credit card to your account
- In the Chargefox app, tap the menu icon in the top left of the search bar
- Click on 'My profile'
- Scroll down to 'Payment methods' and tap 'Add credit card'
- Enter your credit card information and tap 'Submit'
Your credit card is now linked to your account and will be used when you charge your vehicle.
To verify your card, a temporary hold of $1 will be placed on your account.
Updating a credit card
- In the Chargefox app, tap the menu icon in the top left of the search bar
- Tap on 'My profile'
- Scroll down to 'Payment methods' and next to your linked credit card tap 'Update'
- Enter your credit card information and tap 'Submit'
Deleting a credit card
- In the Chargefox app, tap the menu icon in the top left of the search bar.
- Tap on 'My profile'
- Scroll down to 'Payment methods' and next to your linked credit card tap 'Delete'
- When asked "Are you sure you want to delete your credit card", tap 'Delete'
Your credit card is now removed from your account. Please note you must add a new credit card before you can charge your vehicle.
