Some Chargefox stations are equipped with Paymate credit card terminals, which allow you to pay for your charging session directly by card without using the app.
Why wasn’t my charging session invoiced by Chargefox?
If you used the Paymate credit card terminal at the station, your session is not processed or invoiced by Chargefox.
These terminals are owned and operated by Jet Charge, so they handle the payment and receipt for your session
Who do I contact for a receipt or billing issue?
For any questions about your payment, receipt, or charges, you’ll need to contact Jet Charge directly as they manage the Paymate terminal transactions
Why does my bank statement say “Chargefox”?
Even though the terminal is operated by Jet Charge, the name “Chargefox” may still appear on your bank statement.
This is because Chargefox is the registered entity name associated with the transaction, not necessarily the company processing the payment.
Was I charged twice?
In most cases, no. Seeing “Chargefox” on your statement does not mean you were charged separately by both Chargefox and Jet Charge.
If you’re unsure, we recommend checking the transaction details or contacting Jet Charge for clarification.
Is my vehicle subscription valid when using a credit card or Paymate terminal?
Subscription benefits are only applied to sessions started through the Chargefox app. Sessions initiated via third-party payment terminals (such as Paymate) are processed the Chargefox app and are therefore not eligible for subscription pricing.

Can Chargefox refund or investigate these charges?
Chargefox is unable to access or manage transactions made via Paymate terminals.
For refunds or investigations, please reach out to Jet Charge, who can assist further.
