You can find, start, and pay for charging on partner networks directly through the Chargefox app—without needing their separate apps or accounts.
How it works
- Chargefox partners with other charging providers (like NRMA and others)
- Their chargers are integrated into the Chargefox platform
- You use one account, one app, one payment method
- The charging session still runs on the partner’s infrastructure, but you interact via Chargefox
So instead of juggling 3–5 different apps, you just use one.
How to identify a Roaming Station in the Chargefox app
Partner Network stations have a blue banner that appears at the top of the location details. You can start a session at these stations using the Chargefox app. Sessions at these Partner Network stations will not be included in your regular charging history, but you will receive an emailed invoice for the charge.
If you have a charging benefit, when you click on a station in the app, it will show applicability.
Example of a Partner Network station:

Roaming station pricing
These stations are operated by third-party providers, which means pricing is set by the network operator.
Chargefox has no control over NRMA station pricing - these rates are set by NRMA for stations they own and operate.
When you charge at an NRMA station using your Chargefox RFID card or app, you're accessing their stations through our roaming partnership. NRMA may offer different pricing via their own app (potentially including member discounts) compared to the roaming rate they've set for Chargefox users.
If you're planning to use NRMA station and would like to take advantage of the lower rate, we suggest you can use the NRMA App to directly start a charging session.
I have a question about my charging session and invoice
Charging sessions initiated and paid for via the roaming partners app are processed directly by the roaming partner and not through Chargefox. The payment is not handled by Chargefox, and we don't have visibility over, or the ability to refund charges processed via the roaming platform.
For charging issues or on-site assistance at any of our Partner Network stations, please contact the respective partner’s customer service team directly to report the issue.

If your enquiry relates to billing, please provide the invoice number, along with the charging location and date, so we can assist you further.
Is my vehicle subscription applicable at roaming stations?
Your subscription benefits only apply when using the Chargefox app or an RFID card linked to your Chargefox account. Any sessions initiated through a third-party providers app will not be covered.
What happens if I need assistance with a station?
Chargefox doesn’t own or maintain roaming stations—these are operated by external network partners.
If you run into any issues while using a roaming station (like faults, availability, or session problems), you’ll need to contact the station’s host provider directly, as they’re responsible for the operation, maintenance, and support of that charger.
