What to do if a car is parked in a charging bay but not charging
It can be frustrating to arrive at a charging station and find a bay occupied by a vehicle that isn't plugged in, or has completed their session. While Chargefox manages the charging network, we don't have authority to enforce parking rules at individual sites.
What you can do
- Contact local parking enforcement if the vehicle is blocking a designated EV charging bay in a public area.
- Check if the site has signage with a contact number for parking issues.
- Check the Chargefox app for the nearest available station.
