You can now set and apply your own tariffs for charge stations hosted on Chargefox. Tariffs are created in the Chargefox portal and can be scheduled to apply to one or more stations.
Creating a new tariff
To create a tariff, navigate to the Stations page in the Chargefox portal.
Click on the Tariffs tab.
Click the '+ New tariff' button.
- Give your tariff a name
- Set the price point per kWh
- Click 'Save'
Your new tariff has been created and is ready to apply to your stations.
Note: If you'd like to apply more advanced tariffs to your stations, such as time of use pricing, minimum spend, or idle fees, reach out to our support team.
Applying a tariff to your stations
Once you've created a tariff, you can apply it to one or more stations.
To apply a tariff, navigate to the Stations page in the Chargefox portal.
- Find the station(s) you'd like to update the tariff for, using the filters if applicable
- Check the checkbox on the left of each station row you'd like to update
- Click 'Apply tariff' at the top of the table
- In the side panel, select the tariff you'd like to apply
- Set the date you want the tariff to take effect — this must be set at least 1 day in advance
- Click 'Save'
Your tariff update has been scheduled.
In the Charge stations table, you can see the tariff currently applied to each station, as well as any upcoming scheduled tariff update.
