Some charge stations on the Chargefox network don't have a cable attached. For these stations, drivers need to bring their own cable to charge. The Chargefox app highlights which stations and ports require you to bring your own cable.
How do I know which stations require a cable?
If you click on a map pin where one (or many) of the charging ports require you to bring your own cable, we will show a 'Cable required' indicator on the map screen in the app.
Why does the Chargefox app ask if I have my own cable?
To improve your charging experience, the app to ask if you own a public charging cable. Based on your response, we will store this information against your profile.
You can manage this setting in the 'My profile' section of the app, under 'Equipment Details'.
