To charge your EV on the Chargefox platform, you'll need to download the Chargefox App, confirm your email address and add a valid credit card as a payment method.
1. Download the Chargefox App
If you haven't already, please download the Chargefox app via the Apple App store or Google Play.
2. Create an account
Launch the Chargefox app on your phone and follow the on-screen steps to sign up.
3. Confirm your email address
Once you have entered your information we will send you an email to confirm your sign up.
Please check your spam folder if you don't receive it after a couple of minutes. You won't be able able to start a session without confirming your email address.
4. Add a credit card
You'll be prompted to add your credit card details. A valid payment method is required to start and pay for a charge session. If you only want to explore the app you can skip this step and come back later to add them in the 'My Profile' section (see here).
5. App walkthrough
We'll then give you a quick introduction on how to use the app and start a charging session.
6. Allow notifications and access to your location
To improve your charging experience, allow the app to access your location and send you notifications about your charging status.
7. Add your benefits to your account
Chargefox offers a variety of different benefits for charging to the Chargefox driver. Head to the My benefits section and add your membership details, Everyday Rewards Card or other benefits.
